Zdeno Chara just broke another NHL record

Two nights ago, Chara scored his first goal of the season at 45-years old which made him only the fourth 45-year-old to score a goal in the NHL, however, that wasn't the only impressive stat that came out of his goal.

The goal marked the first time he'd scored as an Islander since January 12, 2001. He wouldn't score again that season.

He then got traded away where he spent four years with the Senators, 14 years with the Bruins, a brief 1-year stint with the Capitals, and eventually he found his way back to the Islanders this year.

That span of 1481 games between goals for the same franchise actually sets the new NHL record, pretty impressive for the oldest active player in the league.
