The Washington Capitals picked up Nicolas Aube-Kubel off waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs last week.
Last night, Aube-Kubel made his debut with the Capitals, and he delivered this massive hit to Evander Kane of the Edmonton Oilers (Watch below).
The Washington Capitals would go on to defeat the Edmonton Oilers 5-4 on home ice. The struggles continue for the Oilers who look to overcome a three-game losing streak.
Aube-Kubel looks to score his first goal of the season when the Capitals face-off against the Penguins on Wednesday night.
