Vegas Golden Knights forward Brett Howden is facing a possible suspension following a nasty hit on Kraken forward Brandon Tanev.
The massive hit on Brandon Tanev came just 6 minutes into the third period on Tuesday night's match between the Kraken and Golden Knights (Watch Below).
Following the hit, Brett Howden was ejected from the game, and Brandon Tanev was escorted to the dressing room. There was a double minor (4 minute) penalty assessed on the play.
Tanev's medical status has yet to be announced, however, he has likely suffered a concussion as a result of the hit.
We will likely know by Wednesday evening if a suspension will be handed to Howden as a result of this dangerous hit.
His hearing with the Department of Player Safety will take place on Wednesday.
