The 13th annual Winter Classic happens on Saturday afternoon at Target Field in Minneapolis, MN.

There also will be a 35% chance of snow throughout the day.
Despite Minnesota being a frozen wasteland on Saturday, a sell-out crowd of 38,000 fans are expected to be in attendance for the game. Potentially matching the record-low attendance (38,112) set at the 2010 Winter Classic between the Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins played at Fenway Park.
"It's obviously a great experience," Kaprizov said Tuesday. "Overall, it's a great atmosphere. It's super special for the team, the fans, the players."
"Depends though. When it's really cold, it's obviously very tough. But overall, it's a great, fun experience and a lot of fun for everyone."
The Minnesota Wild throw it back to the 1930's with their faux-back uniforms. The jersey is a blend of former teams to play in the state of Minnesota. The Minneapolis Millers, and the St. Paul Saints.

The Winter Classic between Minnesota and St. Louis was initially postponed in 2021 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The coldest game of hockey in NHL history was at the 2003 Heritage Classic between the Edmonton Oilers and Montreal Canadiens when temperatures reached -17 'C (0 'F).
