The Tampa Bay Lightning have been forced to abandon their home at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, due to dangerous conditions caused by Hurricane Ian.
The storm currently resides over the Gulf of Mexico, and is expected to hit the Tampa Bay area as early as Wednesday.

Due to the arena's close proximity of where Ian is supposed to hit, the Tampa Bay Lightning will be looking for a new home for the unforeseeable future to finish Training camp ahead of the 2022-23 season.
Evacuation zone A is where many players will reside during training camp.
But with Amalie in Evacuation Zone A, hard to see either of this week's scheduled preseason games behind held (Wed/Thurs) in town plus players staying Marriott have to be transported elsewhere. Team could take camp out of town, maybe Nashville, for the next few days.
