Following three cancelled games in two days, the World Juniors tournament has been cancelled due to multiple COVID-19 outbreaks.
Russia VS Slovakia had to be cancelled after a positive case. And as well earlier today, Czech Republic VS Finland had to be cancelled following an overnight positive case from one of their players.
Yesterday, the U.S. had to cancel their game against Switzerland following a positive case as well.
TSN Hockey insider Bob McKenzie confirmed Chris Peter's reporting and notes that an official announcement is forthcoming on Wednesday.
