Justice has been served.

Back on June 9, following a 3-1 defeat to the Tampa Bay Lightning at Madison Square Garden, a New York Rangers fan sucker punched a bolts fan as he made his way out of the arena, knocking him unconscious.

Here's a video shared to Twitter of the incident which has now been seen by millions around the world.

On Wednesday, the 29-year-old, now banned from the MSG for life, pleaded guilty to a single charge of third-degree assault.

James Anastasio was sentenced to an anger management program as well as 200 hours of community service, and a full order of protection to keep him from the victim.

In June, the Lightning confirmed to the Tampa Bay Times that the team sent the man who got punched a package of team playoff gear, but it did not release the man’s name.
