The current Norris candidate defenseman looks to get the Oilers back on winning terms tonight against the LA Kings.
This morning, the Edmonton Oilers confirmed the return of their star defenseman Darnell Nurse Via Twitter.
This is a massive boost to this Oilers squad that is currently 16-6-0 and eyeing first place in the tight Pacific Division race.
In 16 games this season, the defenseman has recorded 11 assists while averaging 26:06 minutes of ice time/game, which is the fifth-most in the NHL.
Nurse hasn't played since breaking his finger against the Winnipeg Jets in Overtime on Nov. 18. This had been the first time since February of 2017 he has missed a game.
The Oilers lost to the Kraken in Seattle on Friday night, and look to rebound with a win.
