Nazem Kadri has made his decision, and he will be heading to the Calgary Flames on a 7-year deal, as per TSN.
This might be the worst possible news for all other Pacific teams as the addition of Kadri makes them that much better.
Kadri had 28 goals and 87 points in 71 games for Colorado last season, and was a key contributor during the post-season which saw Colorado win their first Stanley Cup since the Patrick Roy era.
Prior to his breakout season in Colorado, Kadri's previous career highs came in 2016-17 when he had 32 goals and 61 points in 82 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 31-year-old shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon, this move from Calgary might just put them over the top.
Kadri had initially rejected a trade to the Flames back in 2019, due to wanting to remain a Maple Leaf.
