Must See: Referee kicks puck to help Boston Bruins

During last night's game between the Boston Bruins and the Ottawa Senators, one referee in particular did something shocking.

As the puck went around the boards and hit the referee, he kicks the puck over to the Bruins defenseman Mike Reilly, stopping the Senators player from reaching the puck. You can't make this stuff up.

After the play, Senators captain Brady Tkachuk heads on over to give a mouthful to the referee Corey Syvret.

Despite the referee almost aiding the Bruins to a potential 3rd period comeback, they went on to lose the game 3-2 to the lowly Ottawa Senators.

NHL reffing is clearly at an all-time low and something needs to change fast. The complaints about poor officiating have been happening on an everyday basis it seems, and Bettman has no plans to solve the issue with game management.

Fans on twitter are reacting to the play.

This is however, not the first time a referee has kicked the puck to the Bruins and changed the course of a game. It also happened during the 2019 Stanley Cup Final.

When will this stretch of poor officiating end? Fans are furious.
