Thatcher Demko has a potential Save of the Year candidate Tuesday Night against the Philadelphia Flyers (See Video Below).
The Canucks All-Star goaltender has done it again. He has made yet another unbelievable save that some consider an early candidate for Save of the Year, and we're only three games into the season.
Despite the Canucks dropping the contest 2-0 to Philadelphia, the effort from their goaltender can not go unrecognized as he singlehandedly kept them in this game.
Demko put up Vezina-caliber numbers yet again, saving an impressive 40 of 42 shots faced, and one of those was scored on the Penalty Shot by Sean Couturier.
The Canucks goaltender is no stranger to having Save of the Year candidates, nearly earning the honor with his "scorpion save" against the Rangers last year.
