The Montreal Canadiens have finally recalled Cole Caufield from the AHL affiliate Laval Rocket. Alex Balzile was sent back to Laval.
Caufield had 2 goals and 3 assists since being sent down to Laval earlier in this season.
So far this season with the Montreal Canadiens, Caufield had just 1 assist in 10 games and has not lived up to his Calder trophy caliber hype.
The Canadiens confirmed the move on twitter on Thursday morning.
