Following 15 seasons with the New York Islanders, NHL veteran Josh Bailey has found himself a new home.
Bailey Inks Deal With Sens
On Thursday afternoon, the Ottawa Senators announced they have signed Josh Bailey to a PTO (Professional Try-Out) Contract.
Bailey made his debut for the Islanders during the 2008-09 season. He played a total of 1,057 games for New York before being traded to Chicago in June.
In his career, the Right-Winger scored a total of 184 goals and 580 points. He has been a consistent goal-scorer and been with the team through its many ups-and-downs.
This past season, Bailey scored 8 goals, 17 assists for a total of 25 points in 64 games.
Signing Bailey will be the right move for the Ottawa Senators who look to make a return to the playoffs in the upcoming 2023-24 season. With him, he brings leadership and plenty of depth scoring.
