Mark Stone will be a game-time decision for the Vegas Golden knights against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, as per head coach Pete Deboer.
Stone was on Vegas' second line and second power-play unit during their morning skate, so it appears he is expected (but not confirmed) to make his return to the line up tonight. His status won't be confirmed until the Golden Knights take the ice for pregame warmups.
So far this season, the 29-year-old has 3 points (2 Goals, 1 Assist) in 2 games before getting injured against the Los Angeles Kings back on Oct. 14.
The former Ottawa Senator is arguably one of the best two-way players in the game. Putting up 138 points in 140 games since 2018-19 for the Vegas Golden Knights.
A return to the line up for Mark stone could spell trouble for the Vancouver Canucks who were hoping to benefit off the Golden Knights injuries following a 7-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday Night. The Canucks are currently in the middle of a 3-game road trip which wraps up in Anaheim tomorrow night.
However, Vegas appears to have solved some of their early-season struggles as they now have won 4 of their last 5 games.
This will be an interesting game and we'll see who comes out on top between these two Pacific division rivals.
