Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid (271-498-769 in 525 GP) is just two points shy of his 500th career assist. He can become the 5th fastest player in NHL history to reach this mark, surpassed by only four legends of the sport.

The active fastest player to reach the milestone in assists is Sidney Crosby in 544 GP.

Auston Matthews
Toronto Maple Leaf forward Auston Matthews (277-222-499 in 444 GP) is only one point away from 500, and can become the fastest player in franchise history to reach the mark. The current Leafs record is held by Darryl Sittler who hit the milestone in 517 Career games.

Mitchell Marner
These current Leafs stars are no strangers to setting franchise records, as Mitchell Marner closes in on the 500 point club. He is on pace to become the second fastest Leafs player to reach the mark behind just Auston Matthews, he is currently just three points away (152-345-497 in 464 GP).
Steven Stamkos
With (498-515-1,013 in 957 GP), the NHL veteran is only two goals away from celebrating the 500th of his career. He will become the third active player behind Alex Ovechkin (806) and Sidney Crosby (536) to reach this milestone, and 19th to do so in under 1000 career games. Only 46 players in league history have hit the 500 goal mark.
