Updated: Nov 25, 2021

The New York Islanders debut at the brand new UBS Arena was a success, despite losing to the Calgary Flames 5-2. The stunning arena is located in Belmont Park in Elmont, New York and cost a whopping $1.5 Billion dollars to complete.

The old home of the Islanders was the Nassau coliseum, which was the second-oldest arena in the NHL and also the second-smallest behind the Winnipeg Jets MTS Center.
