The Anaheim Ducks have signed Trevor Zegras to a new deal.
Ducks extend Zegras 3x$5.75m
The Anaheim Ducks have signed Trevor Zegras to a 3-year, $5.75 million AAV contract, announced by the team on Monday morning.
There was uncertainty that the 22-year-old would re-sign with the Ducks, after reports had initially been made that the team offered the star winger between $3-4 million AAV during contract discussions in the previous weeks.
This seems to be a great deal for the Ducks. The Salary Cap is set to have a massive jump next season, and Zegras ceiling remains unknown coming off back-to-back 60-point seasons, as he hopes to transition into an elite player.
