Connor Bedard broke his jaw just 10 days ago, and now he has taken the ice in Chicago on Monday morning.
Bedard is back (sort of), and this could be promising for the Chicago Blackhawks who anxiously await the return of their superstar.
Bedard has taken the ice in a no-contact jersey, and will be skating on his own.
This is great news for the Blackhawks. Bedard, who was selected to participate at the 2024 All-star game in Toronto, will need to be replaced by someone on the Chicago roster as he will not be eligible to participate.
The initial injury report indicated that Bedard would miss 6-8 weeks, however, it looks like he may eventually return sooner than expected.
