The 25-year-old Brock Boeser will be missing the first two-weeks of the 2022-23 season due to a hand injury that occurred during training camp, as confirmed by the Canucks this morning.

Current timeline for his return is 3-4 weeks, as the forward recovers from a successful hand surgery.

The injury was reportedly sustained on the third day of the Canucks training camp in Whistler, British Columbia.

Brock has a history of injuries that have limited his playing time since being drafted 23rd overall in 2015. His most significant one being a hit from Cal Clutterbuck during Boeser's rookie season in 2017-18.

In his career, Boeser has only played a full season once. Which was during the COVID-19 shortened 2020-21 season where he appeared in all 56-games.
