The contract length will be eight-years for a total of $66,800,000.

Last season, Stützle had 22 goals and 58 points in 79 games, and he will just continue to elevate his gameplay as his career advances.
The Senators have recently acquired proven 40-goal scorer Alex DeBrincat from the Chicago Blackhawks. With his bargain $6,400,000 contract set to expire at the end of the upcoming 2022-23 season, the Senators need to be prepared to pay upwards of $9,000,000 to keep the superstar forward.
For now, it appears Tim Stützle will be centering the second line between Alex DeBrincat and Claude Giroux, also recently acquired by the Senators this year.
What do you think, has Stützle proven himself for this contract? Or was he slightly overpaid by the Senators.
