Michael Ryder, a former Stanley Cup champion with the 2010-11 Boston Bruins, has been charged for two counts of impaired driving.

Court documents indicate the Bonavista native was charged in Mount Pearl on Feb. 12.

In 11 seasons at an NHL level, Ryder remained fairly consistent with 484 career points in 806 games for the Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, Dallas Stars and New Jersey Devils.
