Carey Price is joining the Montreal Canadiens on their trip to New Jersey, as confirmed by the team this morning.
Price has been practicing with the team for a while, building himself back into shape to re-join the struggling team, and it looks like we may finally get to see him play again.
He is not expected to play in either of the games on this short road trip, however, him joining the team is a sign that he may be close to a full return soon.
Back in November, Price confirmed he entered treatment for his substance abuse. It's been a tough few years for the superstar goaltender so it's great to see him back in a Montreal Canadiens jersey.
Over the length of his career, Price has 360 wins all with the Canadiens. With Montreal sitting dead-last in the NHL standings, his absence has definitely been noticed.
Expect Price to play soon down the final 12-game stretch for the Montreal Canadiens.
